Biography

Nordette N. Adams grew up in New Orleans. Her first poem was published when she was four years old. More recently, her poetry has appeared in Rattle, Quaint, and About Place Journal, and her essays have been included or referenced in multiple books, journals, and websites such as HuffPost, Slate, Vox, and the Washington Post. She earned her MA in English and her MFA in poetry from the University of New Orleans.
