Dr. Joshua Caffery


Dr. Joshua Caffery is a scholar and musician and current Director of the Center for Louisiana Studies and University of Louisiana Press. He was a founding member of the Red Stick Ramblers, a longtime member of the Cajun group Feufollet, and has been nominated for Grammy awards as a musician as well as a producer. He is the author of Traditional Music in Coastal Louisiana and In the Creole Twilight, a collection of original poems inspired by Louisiana vernacular culture.
