Jack and the Devil Boats: A Higgins PT Boat Story
The story of Andrew Higgins’ remarkable patrol torpedo boats is told in this middle-reader novel from the perspective of a little boy whose father works for Higgins Industries in New Orleans. Japanese sailors called the Higgins PT boats “Devil Boats.” The book traces the boats’ history from 1945 through the 2016 restoration of one of the boats in New Orleans.
