Megan Thomas



Megan Thomas is the current youth consultant for the State Library of Louisiana, after serving as a school librarian and a programming supervisor, both in Calcasieu Parish. She was awarded the LLA 2019 Public Librarian of the Year Award for her work with Calcasieu Public Library. She has a Bachelors in History from LSU, a Masters of Library and Information Sciences from LSU, and a Masters of World War 2 Studies from Arizona State University. Thomas likes historical nonfiction, scuba diving, traveling, and the smell of old books.
