Beauregard & Me and Selected Poems

Beauregard & Me and Selected Poems is a collection of insights through the eyes of the young. Readers will imagine new worlds on a blank bedroom wall, discover the elusive and colorful Wallawat, and learn new ways of expressing the many emotions of growing up. Some happy, some sad, all of the poems are flavored with the curiosity, whimsy, and notes of learned understanding that comes with life's experiences.

Book-loving volunteers are essential to the Louisiana Book Festival's success. Whether it's escorting authors, guiding visitors, selling refreshments, working with children in the Young Readers Pavilion or other fun and rewarding assignments, the Louisiana Book Festival wants you to join the volunteer team.
