‘Afrofuturism’ is a term coined by Mark Dery in a 1994 essay entitled “Black to the Future,” but what exactly does it mean and how is it shaping culture today? Join noted comic book creators Rodney Barnes (Killadelphia, Monarch) and Rob Guillory (Mosely, Farmhand) and assistant professor of English at Southern University Dr. Taylor Scott as they discuss this important movement.
