Christina Vella

 

Biography

A professor of history for more than 20 years, Christina Vella devotes most of her time to writing. Her work includes Intimate Enemies: The Two Worlds of the Baroness de Pontalba, selected by Publishers Weekly, The New York Times and the The Times-Picayune for their best books of 1997 lists; The Hitler Kiss, a memoir of the Czechoslovak resistance; and Indecent Secrets: The Infamous Murri Murder Affair, the history of a famous murder trial in Italy in 1905. Vella is working on a biography of Kemal Ataturk.
