Barry Jean AnceletBarry Jean Ancelet is the Granger and Debaillon/BORSF endowed professor of francophone studies as well as a folklore and research fellow in the Center for Louisiana Studies. He is also head of the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He has written several papers, articles and books as well as performed in concerts. He has also contributed to festivals, records, museum exhibitions, documentary films and television and radio programs on various aspects of Louisiana's Cajun and Creole cultures and languages.
