Karen O'Connell

Biography

Karen O’Connell is the Arkansas Center for the Book Coordinator at the Arkansas State Library. She holds a Master of Science in Library Science from The Catholic University of America, a Master of Arts from Georgetown University, a post-graduate certificate in Preservation Management from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland. O’Connell has worked in academic and special libraries and has extensive training in book history. Her particular interests relate to the history of book illustration and book bindings.
