Biography

Mike Perlstein is an Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter for WWL-TV, the CBS affiliate in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has tackled a wide range of stories exposing government waste, corrupt officials, and miscarriages of justice in the courts. He has been a reporter in New Orleans for almost 40 years, starting at The Times-Picayune, where he was awarded Pulitzer Prizes as part of the team that covered Hurricane Katrina. He has also taught journalism at Loyola University New Orleans, Tulane University, Dillard University, and Southern University at New Orleans.
