Alexander Mikaberidze is the LSU Systems Boyd Professor of History and the Ruth Herring Noel Endowed Chair at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. He is the author and editor of over two dozen books, including The Napoleonic Wars: A Global History, winner of the Gilder-Lehrman Military History Prize and the Society for Military History’s Distinguished Book Award.
