Denise Gallagher is a children’s author and illustrator. She is passionate about folktales and is inspired by her Louisiana home. She has written and illustrated two picture books and has illustrated folktales from Louisiana and Canada. The research she undertook for her latest book, a collection of folktales from around the world, has deepened her appreciation for them. Gallagher also loves to share her passion for literature and art with students of all ages.
