Wade Russell is a retired newspaper reporter whose monthly highlight is lunch with fellow retirees who refer to themselves as The Dinosaurs. When he stumbles across a runaway from a church-run disciplinary home for delinquent girls, his peaceful retirement is rudely interrupted. The girl had been sexually assaulted by the operator of the home and soon after Wade takes her to authorities, she ends up dead.  Convinced that the cause of her death is rooted in the dark world of child sex trafficking, he enlists his fellow Dinosaurs on a quest to hold the perpetrators to account. Armed with blood pressure medications, walkers, and Metamucil, they figuratively hitch up their Depends, adjust their hearing aids, and set out on a one last reporting assignment, the most important of their careers.
