Lisa Carrico is a Program Director for Missouri Humanities, coordinating veteran writing workshops and a veteran anthology. She oversees MH’s role as the state affiliate for the Library of Congress Center for the Book. In 2022, she helped organize the inaugural Missouri Book Festival and now manages the Heartland Book Festival. She serves as Board Advisor for the Central Region of the Center for the Book and as Board Chair for Turn the Page STL, part of the National Campaign for Grade-Level Reading.
