Malik Mingo is the host of Great Day Louisiana on WWL-TV in New Orleans and has interviewed celebrities like Halle Berry, Tyler Perry, and Kevin James. Born in New Orleans, but moved to San Antonio, Texas, when he was 9 years old, Mingo is NOLA made and Texas raised. He loves a good book, especially memoirs and other nonfiction. When not at work, you can find Mingo at a festival eating, enjoying live music, or at home catching up on his very full DVR!
