Michele Chan Santos is the Coordinator of the Texas Center for the Book, part of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission in Austin, Texas. She was previously the Communications and Grants Manager at the Texas Library Association and the editor of the Texas Library Journal. Before working in the library world, Santos was a journalist for many years and she has a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
