Sandra Sarr
Sandra Sarr, a poet and writer, manages communications and edits UPROAR magazine at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She launched LSU Vet Med’s Artist-in-Residence Program, the first in the nation. Her poem, “Strange Currency,” appears in Alone Together, winner of the Washington State Book Award in 2021. Her poems and novel, The Road to Indigo, have won awards, entrance into Tin House, and led to new poems in the voices of her novel’s characters.
