Sofia Kamal is a senior at Rancho Solano Preparatory School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she is involved with the National Art Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and the literary magazine. Her writing and visual art have been recognized by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the YoungArts awards, and the Tempe Festival of the Arts. In addition to writing, her interests include drawing, painting, and music.
