When & Where 

The 2024 Louisiana Book Festival is on Saturday, November 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Baton Rouge.

 

Parking

In addition to parking along the street, you will find parking lots near the Capitol. The Galvez Parking Garage (see our overview map) will be available as well.

Exhibitors

Information Centers

Information centers are located near the corner of N. 4th Street and North Street, near the intersection of Spanish Town Road and N. 4th Street, and in the ground floor breezeway of the State Capitol. These Centers distribute maps, schedules, and programs and provide information concerning special needs access – arranging sign language interpretation, onsite transportation for visitors with disabilities, and large print and braille reproductions of the LBF Program. Additional services include First Aid and Lost and Found.

 

Special Needs 

Free wheelchair accessible parking is available in the south parking lot of the State Library (enter from N. 3rd Street) and in designated spaces at the southeast corner of the Capitol.

On the day of the festival, those with special needs may request onsite transportation at any of the LBF information centers. Sign language interpretation is available upon request at the information centers. Service is limited and will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
