David Havird is the author most recently of Weathering, published by Mercer University Press in 2020, a “chimeric omnibus” of poetry and memoir. Find new work of his in Asheville Poetry Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, Literary Matters, Plume, and Raritan. He retired from the classroom in 2020 after 30 years at Centenary College of Louisiana. He lives in Shreveport, Louisiana.
