John Gery’s seven poetry collections include The Enemies of Leisure, A Gallery of Ghosts, Have at You Now!, and Davenport’s Version. He has received fellowships from the NEA, Fulbright Foundation, University of Minnesota, Louisiana Division of the Arts, and others. As a critic, he has written extensively on modernist and contemporary poetry. A Research Professor at LSU New Orleans, he directs the Ezra Pound Center for Literature and edits the EPCL Book Series at Clemson University Press.
